If nothing else, tomorrow may prove that strange women lying in ponds distributing swords isn't as bad a basis for gov't as first thought.

I have to ask Grok to explain most of your dumb jokes to me. That reflects poorly on you.

Day 71 Morning Glucose - 65 BP - 92/60 I took her CGM off last night because it's been extremely inaccurate these past couple of days. Blood Sugars She didn't take her long-acting insulin last night. This morning, we were back to doing a normal finger stick with her glucometer. Her sugar was 65, and she had no symptoms of hypoglycemia. Also, she didn't take any long-acting insulin this morning as well. Blood Pressure Her BP was a little low yesterday at the surgeon's office so he just encouraged oral fluids for the rest of the day. Her BP was slightly low this morning, but she also didn't drink a bunch of fluids and electrolytes during the night like she normally does. Bowel Movements Yesterday evening, she was feeling a little hungry and asked for one of her protein powder muffins. Although her mouth was sore, she ate it with no issues, then asked for another one. She decided not to take her pancreatic enzymes with her protein muffins just to see how her gut would do. It did fine. No diarrhea, not even one bowel movement in the evening or throughout the night. She had a good appetite this morning and asked for a protein powder muffin and some scrambled eggs with cheese. She was able to eat just fine. She also decided not to take her enzymes again this morning. Yesterday, she only had two bowel movements. One in the morning before leaving for her surgery, and one in the afternoon. Even though she hasn't taken her enzymes at all, she didn't even have another BM until this morning around 0900, and everything about it was normal. I hope that's a good sign 🙏 She barely had any bleeding from her gums overnight, but her gums, mouth, and jaw are all very sore. It's going to be a few days of recuperating, but it seems that her gums are already on the mend. We have many more appointments coming up this week, so we're praying for a good recovery. One day at a time 🙏

When it comes to the perpetual virginity of Mary, do you agree with the Catholic view or with the view of Protestant reformers Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, and John Wesley?

Why did lumbar puncture go from being a med student procedure (bc it is extremely low risk) to a procedure that can only be done by an interventional radiologist?

In the time since I was in residency (2000) learning surgical techniques to treat sleep apnea, the number of annual surgeries for OSA has fallen by over 65%. This is because the vast majority of operations for sleep apnea do not work. The best outcomes are in children with enlarged tonsils and adenoids, but adults should always try CPAP (and weight loss) before surgery.
