The final assignment by one of my students, composed entirely in Latin and presented in beautiful medieval-style calligraphy. It’s remarkable what can be achieved in just a few months with enthusiasm, dedication, and the right method of instruction. I’m a very proud magister!

@jillbarshay Hi Jill! I find that words such as “heretofore” and “thusly” show up in essays now more than they would naturally be present in the Gen Z vocabulary.

@DoktorBrett Is thusly really a word? (I must deploy it more in Scrabble.) Hilarious and great to see you in my X feed!

Mixing psych meds, molly & Jack Daniels on Halloween -- what possibly could go wrong? Hypnosis, a flight to Detroit, murder, jail & satanic conspiracy, for starters. My latest fiction short story in the Adelaide Literary Magazine: "The Evansport Ledger." adelaidemagazine.org/the-evansport-…

Today we proudly kicked off our Freedom Lights the Future Festival with a full day of engaging, educational, and entertaining experiences across campus! We began the morning with a thought-provoking faculty-led panel exploring 250 years of American innovation, sparking meaningful conversation and reflection. Throughout the day, the Four Seasons building came alive with historical reenactments, interactive exhibits, and student showcases—including a fun and creative student contest to translate the Declaration of Independence into modern-day language. And this is just the beginning—stay tuned for more events and experiences throughout the year as we continue celebrating America’s 250th!

TU for your commentary on the D o Indep. along with those of your colleagues. The message: that those self-evident truths & inalienable rights can't be taken for granted & it's the resp. of people to understand & defend no matter where one falls on the pol. spectrum. Well said.

I bumped into Benjamin Franklin & Abigail Adams today at @NorthwoodU’s Freedom Lights the Future Festival to launch the campus celebration of USA’s 250th anniversary. America’s Free Enterprise University champions the history and freedoms that made (and make) this country great.

No voter ID, especially when combined with mail-in ballots, means the system is engineered to make fraud impossible to prove. Everyone knows that you can barely get through your week without showing ID for the most banal activities, like shopping at Costco. The only reason to ban ID is to hide massive voter fraud.
Katie Miller@KatieMiller

The reality is there's mass amounts of cheating in our elections. Just because there's an engineered lack of data, does not mean there isn't data to the contrary. The new CBS/YouGov poll shows that 80% of Americans support Voter ID including 80% of black Americans & 77% of Hispanic Americans. Yet why is it that Congress seems so intractable to wanting to pass a such a popular policy?

… and then a contingent from the New Hampshire militia loaded up their muskets and started shooting redcoats. Unlike the Blame America First haters at most colleges and universities, @NorthwoodU promotes the freedoms, obligations & opportunities of this land founded on liberty.
