Nolan Ryan of the evening ✨🌔 3,925 followers Nolan Ryan’s 3,925th punchie was SD Padre Terry Kennedy. Side story.. August 11th 1982 in SD, Dad and I saw Nolan throw a 1 hitter where Terry Kennedy hit a slow rolling ground ball into CF. I can still see Doran dive for it.

@RetroCardSnaps Difficult tiebreaker between 1978 and 1980. Both worthy of being #1 but 1980 gets the advantage because of the intensity on Gary’s face. One of my all time favorite Topps cards.

Bob Knepper, pitcher for the #Astros and #Giants, was born #OTD in 1954. A two-time All-Star, he won 10 or more games six times, and twice led the National League in shutouts. Knepper won 146 career games with a 3.68 ERA in his 15-year career.
