A charger the size of an AirPods case raised €591,000 on Kickstarter. The goal was €20,000. It hit 2,900% funded. Here's what Rolling Square actually did: → Took a 100W USB-C charger that powers a MacBook Pro → Made it 65% smaller than Apple's version → Weighed it at 100 grams → Made it fold flat That's it. No new technology. GaN chips have existed for years. They just packaged them smaller. This is their 10th Kickstarter. They've sold 2.2 million products worldwide. The lesson isn't about chargers. The best businesses don't invent new demand. They remove friction from products people already use.

New Anthropic research: Emotion concepts and their function in a large language model. All LLMs sometimes act like they have emotions. But why? We found internal representations of emotion concepts that can drive Claude’s behavior, sometimes in surprising ways.

I built an online business with just $20. I opened an Etsy shop. Used Claude AI to build wedding planners, budget trackers, and spreadsheets. Listed 20 products at 20 cents per listing. $16 to open the shop. $4 in listings. That’s it. 20 products for $20. The shop is live 24/7. Have you ever sold something online? Tell me your story. #aibusiness #buildwithai #buildinpublic #onlinebussnies #indiedev

I built an online business in less than 15 minutes. Here’s exactly what I did: I opened Claude, asked it to build me a budget spreadsheet, and downloaded the file. Then I went to Gumroad, uploaded it, and priced it at $12. That’s it. I now have a product for sale online. The crazy part? You can do this with anything. Meal planners. Resume templates. Workout trackers. The tools are free. The platforms are free. The only thing missing is you actually doing it. I’m just waiting for my first sale. Follow along — I’ll share the results. @AnthropicAI #buildinpublic #ClaudeCode #indiedev

@haider1 Computers didn't kill jobs. The internet didn't kill jobs. AI won't either. It'll create roles that don't have names yet. We just need to expand our vision.

Andrej Karpathy says software demand will spike in the short term because code is now ephemeral It can be rewritten, modified, and personalized instantly. Everything digital will get rewired But long-term? "even the researchers building AI know they may be automating their own jobs away"

@kanavtwt This is the new baseline. If your SaaS can be one-shot, the product was never the code it was the conviction to ship it anyway.

I built an iOS app in less than 1 hour. I can’t write a single line of Swift-IOS code. The app took 1 hour to build. The Apple Store forms took 2. The tech barrier is gone. If you have an idea, just build it. 👉 SimpleStreaks — live on the App Store. #buildinpublic #indiehacker

Thinking how we can evolve openclaw plugins to be more powerful while also making core leaner. Also wanna add support for claude code/codex plugin bundles. Good stuff coming soon!

@bourneshao Exactly. The build is the easy part now. The real grind is forms, screenshots, and compliance checkboxes.

@Dolcedt lol this is painfully accurate. I can prototype and ship a working tool in a weekend but then spend 3 days fighting app store review or setting up proper CI. the bottleneck moved from building to everything around building

It's crazy how fast you can ship apps now if you know what you're doing. And it's even crazier that building the app is faster than submitting it to the App Store. -SimpleStreaks A habit tracker I built in 2 hours on a Saturday. 1 hour to build with Claude. 1 hour fighting App Store Connect forms. It's free. No subscription. Just a clean app that helps you stick to your habits. Waiting for Apple review now. I'll share the full breakdown once it's live. @AnthropicAI #buildinpublic #ClaudeCode #indiedev

@Dolcedt ollama plus openclaw with predictable cost tiers is smart. the api bill surprise is what kills a lot of side projects. running agentic loops overnight without waking up to a $300 charge is a real pain point. how stable has kimi k2.5 been for you

Ollama+ OpenClaw 🦞+ Kimi K2.5 cloud = predictable-cost AI coding. No more waking up to surprise API bills. Fixed tiers: $0, $20, $100. For anyone running agentic loops overnight (guilty 🙋‍♂️), this matters. ollama launch openclaw --model kimi-k2.5:cloud

@fchollet As long as we have to babysit Ai, calling it AI is generous. It’s an LLM. And yes, we are years and years away from AGI. Bigger models don’t mean better problem solvers, they mean more expensive pattern matchers.

The persisting importance of prompt engineering -- and now harness engineering -- is one of the best indicators of how far we are from AGI. A general system doesn't need a task-specific harness. And when provided with instructions, it is robust to phrasing variations.

coding was never really about code. it was about translating intent into systems. AI just made the translation layer disappear
