@Woody26101 @LidlGB Lidl have changed their Lidl plus reward scheme, it's now terrible value. Who asked for this, & why did you listen? Bring back 10% off, it's gone from spending £250 to get 10% off to spending £1000 to get £10 off. How is it better? @Tesco clubcard is looking much more attractive

Let me get this straight @LidlGB, regarding your #LidlPlus app, first I spent £200 and I got a £10 voucher, then it was £250 for a 10% voucher, now it's £500 for a £5 pound voucher based on points system. Lando said it best when he said "This deal keepsgetting worse all the time"

@LidlGB why did you have to change the Lidl Plus app? The customer has to spend a lot more money to get points for the odd few freebies & money off. Why do away with the 10% off when a customer spends £250 in a month? It wasn't broken, why try & fix it?! It's all about profits!

Young people are backing the Greens because we’re talking about what matters to them - affordable housing, accessible transport, and real action on the climate crisis. The future isn’t pre-written. It’s ours to shape. Vote Green on May 7.

@ThePriscilla It's men who want to dictate to women, Hun. It's the law in the UK, no men in women's spaces.Trans women are not excluded from these spaces because they are trans, but because they are male.

Trans women can make whatever spaces they want under any definition of woman they want. Females who want female only spaces can make whatever spaces they want under whatever definition of woman they want. You don’t get to dictate other people’s definitions. Everyone has a right to their own space. Trans women only space? Go do it!!!! A space for only females? great!!! YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO EVERY SINGLE SPACE JUST BECAUSE YOU DEMAND IT

Would be remiss not to mention that this govt has kicked off the first (targeted) revaluation of any properties in England since 1991, with a new surcharge on homes worth more than £2 million. Significant reform, raising revenue from those with the 1% most valuable homes.
Paul Johnson@PJTheEconomist

I'm not in general a fan of petitions, but can't resist this one. We desperately need to reform property taxation. Any government serious about both growth and fairness would have this top of their agenda. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7543…

It turns out that Reeves’s levy on homes worth more than £2 million is already costing hundreds of millions before a penny of the new tax has even been collected. There shouldn’t be any surprise about that. Wealth taxes, which is what the mansion tax amounts to, always backfire. This is just the latest example. Introducing an extra tax on homes worth more than £2 million, with a sliding scale up to £5 million, is turning out to be a lot more complex than expected for the Treasury. It has been reported that Treasury officials estimate that, in the three years between Reeves announcin the levy and it coming into effect in April 2028, there will be a £230 million fall in stamp duty and inheritance tax revenues as values drop to around the threshold at which the tax is levied. Identifying and valuing all the homes that will have to pay the new tax is likely to cost another £150 million. Add the two figures together, and the mansion tax will end up costing the government £380 million before it raises any cash at all. ✍️ Matthew Lynn Article | spectator.com/article/reeves…

The cost of living is the number one issue families are facing at the moment. That's why we're going all out for cheap, clean, homegrown power that we control, to bring down energy bills for good.

@sharrond62 Liz, you're the only person I've ever known not to get a better fitting bra in the right size, after years of wearing the wrong size. The whole ethos of Bravissimo is making you love your boobs & wearing the right size can do that. I've been a customer for 20+ years & recommend

@sharrond62 Bravissimo have been doing that for decades, they never use a tape measure, but you end up with the right bra size based on their experience. Rugby & Peller do the same. Google it Sharon, you won't be disappointed if you visit a shop.

Labour has reduced the NHS waiting list to the lowest in 3 years. In London, 46,074 fewer people are now waiting for treatment thanks to hard-working NHS staff and Labour’s record investment in the NHS. 📉 We will keep pushing forward to make the NHS fit for the future.

@CurtisDaly_ What about £3 extra, but now it's only 2/3rds of a cup....?? Or the free milk is now 50p extra....? If a business doesn't cover its costs & make profits, that's less employment all round. Basic economics means a business will pay what it can afford.

Put up prices, i am more than happy paying an extra 50p to a quid on my coffee is the person who served me earned £15ph. Can people please acknowledge rent and bills? All we hear is wage bill and taxes. The Greens want to abolish landlords, that includes COMMERCIAL landlords
Ferafestiva@ferafestiva23

If I’m paying 5 employees £12.71 ph and have to increase to £15 I have to find an extra £29k+ a year (if you include NI and NEST etc based on 40hrs per week) does anyone think a business like a coffee shop can magic up an extra £29k + a year without putting up prices?
