@samimmens @TVAirAmb Literature says 200ml/min of cold fluids. IMO it’s great at warming fluids inc. blood but is heavy at 1.7kg and bulky
English

@TVAirAmb What's the max flow and rewarming rates with that unit? We use the Belmont Buddy-lite and it's limited in it's ability to re-warm quickly our blood stored at 4deg. Robust unit and lasts a long time on one battery so that's good, also pretty good at room temp fluids.

There is some heavy macho stereotyping in PHEM: jumping out of choppers, tactical vests, and slogans like 'everyday heroes' BUT I promise that it's not really like that! #FEMinPHEM
Caroline Leech@LeechCaroline
Oh yes, I do get a teeny bit upset when I hear pre-hospital practitioners described as “you helicopter boys” in a national presentation. #FEMinPHEM 🤦🏻♀️🚁

Interesting thread from @alistairsteel
Something to think about @elmsy1664
Alistair Steel 🇺🇦🇮🇷@alistairsteel
In today’s #plotthedots I’m looking at videolaryngoscopy. Intubating patients in an emergency can be tricky. Difficulty in intubating can lead to low oxygen levels, and this can increase mortality, especially in brain-injured patients rcseng.ac.uk/-/media/files/…
