A Christmas night horror story: I was woken this morning around 0400 by 2 of my cats pouncing on something, chasing it and doing that funny little hunting chirrup… 😱 after a while all when quiet so I took the sensible option of staying put and seeing what it was in the morning

This is quite a claim If you knew that an investment value of a foreign company was based on residents of that country being incentivised (given auto enrolment, forced?) to buy them, would that make you think it was a good investment for you?

Government give me tax relief on my pension contributions Amongst others, I invest those contributions in shares of Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. Global companies but listed in the US. But my money doesn’t actually go to those companies, however, as a partial owner it benefits from their success. Should they succeed more than UK companies, my pension will grow to a bigger value and I will then pay more income tax when I later draw that pension Income tax that will help pay for vital services. I’ll likely pay more tax than I was ever given in tax relief
