@GNetworkComms are you experiencing any network issues currently? I'm shown as connected in my router but can't access the internet.

eu-west-1 - friendly, nice accent, good with government paperwork, sends elaborately signed love notes to you all over Europe. Just don't ask about their taxes, or be disappointed when they run out of energy 5/10 years in.

us-east-1 - strong and reliable, but a little cocky, controlling at times, weird trust issues.

Really want to see a thread of "AWS regions if they were your partner."

A lot of theatrics going on today in Parliament. Shouting at the wall here, and v guilty of wishful thinking, but... everyone is just so fed up, please, for the love of God, can we just have a sodding General Election?

So @NatWest_Help are filming an ad outside my flat today. Seemingly decimated the day's trade for the local cafes, they've even set up a free food van directly opposite one of them. Still, sure they're proud to say they support local businesses... 🙃

@Mr_John_Oxley Yes. Unless there's a surprise afoot. It also relies on Tory party discipline holding for a bit. Until the end? Presumably relies on Tory MP future paymasters' patience, too? Not Sunak's style, but there has to come a point where events take over, no?

Genuine question... what happens if a General Election is called during a by-election? I'm assuming by-election voided and seat just up in GE as usual, but I've no idea why, or what weird stuff happens as a result.

@matttcasey The person who won this is inevitably a brilliant pub quiz answer, right?

@DomWeldon The by-election could either be cancelled eg Manchester Gorton (2017) or it can go ahead as it was the day after the vote of No confidence eg Liverpool Edge Hill (1979).

@Mr_John_Oxley More interesting question is, IMHO, will this happen in 2024...?
