@LucyGoBag Given the amount of tinned soup, vegetables, fruit and meat, not forgetting large amounts of pasta and rice, which can be cooked over a simple camp stove. A better idea would be have a plan in place to operate during an extended power cut.

@LucyGoBag As a former Food bank volunteer across multiple sites across Bexley. People are often in a vulnerable state when they walk through the door already eg Mental Health, debt and need to be signposted correctly.

One interesting action from last night’s session with @amandacomms was to explore whether we can get chargeable lamps and torches into foodbanks (and maybe a way to return to charge them?) 💡 is this a thing @TrussellUK

@libdemlife They may have sensory issues eg loud noises, quite common for people who are autistic (like me) or neurodivergent to wear them. I for example have trouble with home fireworks displays.
