To my mild embarrassment I’ve never read Robert Caro’s “The Power Broker.” When it finally came out on kindle I started it (about 15% in now). It is incredibly well written and researched (though I know some of the opinions are disputed and I haven’t read the other side). I can see why it’s an absolute classic of biography. But it’s still a bazillion page book on urban planning. I can see why there’s never been a TV movie version…

Sooooooo... ...where does 2024 stand all time for equity CS momentum? Cause I feel like we've gotten be in >100 percentile here. Yes, that was a joke, but still.

@lady__bost @danielcrosby Copying from others is easier and faster, gets the 'quick win'. Speed is preferred over a slower win of the same size with less risk taken.

Questions for all the people/behavior experts out there… 1) What’s the explanation behind why people create/spread fake news 2) Why are (seemingly) smart, normal people susceptible to it? I feel like I have a fairly decent understanding of human behavior but this area escapes my rational mind The amount of extra work I have to do to make sure I’m sharing CORRECT info about a devastating hurricane is insane 🤦🏻‍♀️
