@BettingThePitch Yeah and the refs on the field are the same too. It’s been my biggest problem with the refereeing forever. If they were consistent, then fine. But it’s like they use different rules in every game.

@DominicLapadula VAR is just so inconsistent is my problem. If it was fair and was used for the right moments and the right way, I wouldn’t mind it at all but you just never know what you’re going to get!

@BettingThePitch However this angle also kind of looks like the defender got a piece of the ball, which he clearly didn’t when you look at the original video. Maybe it depended on what angle VAR was looking at? Idk. VAR and the refs are awful anyways, so who knows 😂

I think this angle does a better job showing that he was essentially running next to the ball and his momentum was going to force him into the defender either way. He would have needed to plant his foot and come to a complete stop and turn to get the ball.
