So, the Virginia Supreme Court just nullified the will of the People regarding the April 21st referendum. The precedent was set in Louisiana. Now Virginia! We are witnessing not just voter suppression, but lawfare on a massive scale, in real time.

In Virginia, we don’t follow — we lead. It’s not complicated. Gerrymandering is bad no matter what political party is promoting it.

Donald Trump warns Virginians that if they vote YES on the redistricting amendment tomorrow, he will lose power: “If the Democrats get additional House seats, they’re going to be making changes at the federal level.”

So the campus protesters have the support of the national College Democrats and also the Fairfax County Democratic Party. These are the foot soldiers of the party’s mainstream power structure. The party leadership is utterly isolated.
