Final Fantasy VII Revelation developers believe they’ve finally nailed the combat system. Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the battle system has been “perfected,” with the team building on everything they learned from both Remake and Rebirth. One of the biggest new features is the FITS system, which lets characters change their combat role depending on the outfit they equip. During the reveal, Tifa was shown using mage-style abilities, suggesting players will have much more freedom to customize their party than before. The game will also make Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind fully playable for the first time in the remake trilogy. “We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from Remake and Rebirth and brought it together in Revelation,” Hamaguchi said.

@Pintabs88 @Pirat_Nation That's the copium. E33 combat won't work with FF cause it's lack off strategy and it's too simple. People who said that probably never play any FF game before. We have to back to real turn based combat or ATB system.

@Pirat_Nation Expedition 33's battle system is the missing piece in this series, FF VII Remake ditched the turn based system saying it's old and outdated style, now they're stuck with the fighting system that's confusing and barely enjoyable, E33 showed them how it's done.

Shenmue 3 looks cheap, has worse combat than Shenmue 1-2 and only 3h story. Rest of the game is training with 4 activites. Too repetitive.

What did you find mainly disappointing? The short story? I mean, I feel they nailed the vibe and style quite well. There were obviously a lot of limitations in what they could do with that small budget, if we consider everything needed to be built from scratch. I actually felt it was better than what I had expected.

@chronowarida It's the Soul-like mind virus. Many people(gamers and journalists) now think any action game is Souls like/Sekiro clone even if completely different.

In no hell did any of the gameplay looked like sekiro. I think art style wisw it reminded me of Nioh more
