@DonDrawsStuff If you're working on an indie book, the right thing to do would be to check with the writer. It's just common decency. Spotting a typo and saying nothing is tantamount to saying "meh, fuck those guys, it's their problem". Doesn't take much effort to NOT be a prick.

As someone who has lettered several comics in his day, this is a bad take from Esposito. I've come across typos all the time when putting the letters down on the page. And yes, it's definitely the job of the proof-readers and the editors to catch these mistakes. But we're all human and typos still happen. If you're a COMPETENT letterer, and someone who gives a damn about what they're doing, you should be smart enough to discern a typo from slang and just DO YOUR JOB. Or, crazy thought...communicate with the writer or editor like any normal professional would. To lay blame on someone else for something you should have fixed is maximum weaksauce and a coping mechanism. I'd love to hear from others on this. @eric_weathers @JonMalin @blambot

Sad. He just came back from cancer and was looking forward to getting back to great acting. All losses of life are tragic, but as a fan...this one hits a little harder. RIP/ Sam Neill.
