Notice how nothing about the story or characters themselves aren't spoken upon. The ONLY thing that is shared is she's a black person. Her skin color is irrelevant, let the work speak for itself. This needs to stop because it doesn't do anything for the X-Men title.

I need y'all to jump on the new story of X-Men comics called X-Men United. It's written by @eveewing the first ever black person let alone black woman to write a main line X-Men story. The first issue was last week and it was great need y'all to tap in.

Now we have fans begging people to read the X-titles simply because the writer is a DEI hire.
The color of one's skin and/or gender DOES NOT qualify one as a great writer/storyteller. Tell me the book is good, and I'll check it out for myself. Telling me to read it simply because it's the first black (barely) chick to write it is hardly an endorsement.
