Justice Milman found that there are grounds to believe @Linkletter infringed @Proctorio's copyright, acted in breach of confidence by sharing the links, and has no valid defence. Proctorio submitted a CDO and waived the (faint hope) opportunity to be reimbursed by Linkletter.

Ian @Linkletter harmed himself & family in an effort to harm the CEO of Proctorio. The 2020 lawsuit is now settled. @Proctorio waived its' costs. This drama wasted an extraordinary amount of time and money.

@EFF @joemullin @arstechnica The Courts' Judgments are that the @Proctorio lawsuit had merit and that @Linkletter had no defence for his copyright infringement. Both parties spent an extraordinary amount of time and money. The Consent Dismissal Order is a pragmatic settlement.

5 years ago, @Linkletter chose not to take the opportunity to declare his copyright infringement and pay minimal costs to settle the civil lawsuit, which he's since lost in court. A regrettable, stressful waste of time and money for everyone.
