Prop firm “consistency rules” are one of the biggest payout traps in the industry.
Example:
You have a +$3,100 winning day.
Your account grows to +$7,500 overall.
Consistency = 41%
You’re eligible for payout.
Then you have a few losing days.
Now your account is only up +$2,000 overall…
BUT your biggest winning day is STILL +$3,100.
So suddenly your “consistency” jumps to 150%+ and you become ineligible for payout… despite still being profitable.
The crazy part?
Your best trading day never changes.
Only the denominator shrinks.
So the more drawdown you take after a big win, the MORE “inconsistent” the prop firm says you are.
You can:
• follow risk rules
• stay net profitable
• meet trading day requirements
• still get locked out of payouts
This is why experienced prop traders:
• cap daily profits
• stop after big green days
• slowly ladder gains instead of pressing
Because one big day can haunt your account for weeks.

You don’t need to go “all-in” on trading
Keep working your job and work on trading for 1-3 hours a day
I did this for a few years while working as a bricklayer and part-time in a supermarket
Going “all-in” on trading sounds great, but is incredibly risky and means that when you do become profitable you won’t have any money to invest into challenges
Take it slow man, the markets will still be in a few years

Auf dem Weg dahin, habe ich kurz bei einem Bäcker angehalten, um mir einen Kaffee To-go zu kaufen.
Vorher hatte ich daheim schon eine Kleinigkeit gefrühstückt und einen Kaffee getrunken, aber ich brauche meistens 2x schwarzes Gold, um zu funktionieren.
Vor mir hat ein anderer Kunde folgendes bestellt:
- Latte Machiatto: 4,80 €
- Butterbrezel: 2,50 €
- Schinken-Käse-Baguette: 6,90 €
Gesamt: 14,20 €
Mein schwarzer Kaffee hat 2,50 € gekostet und zum Essen brauchte ich wie gesagt nichts mehr.
Unterschied: 11,7 €.
Ich weiß nicht, wie oft der Herr das in der früh macht, aber lassen wir es 4x im Monat sein.
Dann sind das 46,8 €.
In 10 Jahren wären das bei monatlicher Anlage in einen ETF 8.100,37 €.
In 20 Jahren wären es sogar 24.379,37 €.
Ist es normal, dass mir solche Hochrechnungen einfach so in den Sinn kommen? 😂
Mich wundert es jedenfalls nicht, dass die Leute im Alter nicht ausreichend Geld haben.
Heute jeden Tag leben wie ein Fürst und später wird es bedauert.

Das Gesetz soll klar regeln, ob digitale Assets eher als Wertpapiere oder Commodities gelten, die Zuständigkeiten von SEC und CFTC abgrenzen und einen rechtlichen Rahmen für den US-Kryptomarkt schaffen.
🛑 Problem:
1.) 3 Banken-Gruppen haben den Kompromissvorschlag für Zinsen mit Stablecoins formell abgelehnt.
2.) Über 100 Änderungsvorschläge von Senatoren sind eingegangen.
Diese 3 Szenarien sind jetzt möglich:
✅ Der Ausschuss bringt das Gesetz durch („Markup“ abgeschlossen) – damit wäre der Weg frei für die Abstimmung im Senat und das Ziel einer Verabschiedung bis 4. Juli im Weißen Haus.
📝 Die Anhörung wird zur öffentlichen Änderungsrunde, aber ohne finale Abstimmung – die Verhandlungen ziehen sich bis in den Sommer.
⛔ Der Prozess stockt komplett – das Zeitfenster wird eng und es steigt das Risiko, dass das Gesetz nicht rechtzeitig vor dem Midterm-Wahlkampf durch den Senat kommt.
