I’m beyond upset after the Iran vote. I again voted to end the war. But Republicans gave Trump exactly what he wanted: unlimited and unchecked power. This is a disastrous, dangerous, and reckless illegal war that the people are sick of paying for. Republicans don’t care.

Initiating dialogue is a diplomatic approach meant to avoid more bloodshed. If the Pope were to begin a war with Islam, the result would only be more bloodshed on our own doorstep.
