@Based_Mr_L You should go read the Bible. The whole thing, cover to cover. Then come back and tell me that again.

God states that rape, "slavery", child abuse and genocide are wrong. Not only that, God forbids rape, "slavery", child abuse, and genocide. And He will give divine and eternal punishment to whoever commits those acts. You're not "more moral". You are arrogant midwit moron.

@elyawda @LutheranAnswers @Carlcarlhanson It's literally written in the Bible. The very first sentence of Matthew reads we don't actually know who wrote it because the author was anonymous. So are you saying the Bible is a Jewish fable?

One difficulty Christians have to deal with: We have no written record of Jesus - at all, anywhere - until the mid-to-late first century.

@LutheranAnswers @Carlcarlhanson Jesus died, rose again and ascended into Heaven in 33 AD. Matthew wrote Matthew and John wrote John in 34-40 AD. Mark, being Peter’s son, wrote Mark in 40-50 AD. And Luke, as a Historian, wrote Luke in 50-60 AD

@MetamateDaz The problem with your argument is the poor people who aren't using what money they have for basic necessities and getting government assistance to compensate. Meanwhile the billionaires don't have that issue.

You ever noticed that it’s socially acceptable to tell poor people how to spend their money? But when we ask the rich to stop hoarding wealth, the response is always “it’s their money.”

@RealJamesWoods Harris had 75 million votes. If you know the facts about the 2020 election it's very clear that fraud wasn't an issue. It's easy to understand why that was a higher turnout if you have a functioning brain but there's the issue with magats.

Quite the contrary. It was unequivocally a fraudulent election. It makes perfect sense if you face the facts.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

@Griot2325 The pipeline wasn't big or important and had zero impact on gas prices and he used the reserves to lower prices that were impacted by global events out of his control. Meanwhile fuckface in office is the one creating global events causing prices to spike. See the difference?

@RudeOnion @kenneyclone @jeremyct You got that backwards. Costs are retardedly inflated because insurance companies only pay a fraction of charges. So hospitals raise the prices to actually get paid what it originally cost. For profit insurance companies are what broke our systems back.

i called to cancel my health insurance because i couldn’t keep affording it. the rep asked why. i said paying $500 a month for a plan with a $6k deductible doesn’t even feel like insurance anymore. it just feels like paying monthly to still be financially ruined if something happens. she didn’t really have a response.

@FreeNortherner @ChronchusM lmao you think you’re somehow superior because you’re one social class above the lower class and you have to defend what little you do own from them instead of the ones at the top? Man thats dumb, the lower class has always revolted against the ruling class, never the middle.

@RockChartrand The easiest way to raise wages is undoing a reagan era law change. Make stock buy backs illegal again. Disallow companies to pump money into the stock market artificially inflating their numbers and they'll be forced to actually prove a value to make more money.

The uncomfortable reality is that for many workers the transition wouldn’t be from $7 an hour to $15 an hour. It would be from $7 an hour to unemployed. A wage law cannot magically double someone’s productivity or the value their labor creates. If a position only generates enough value to justify a lower wage, many employers respond by: • Cutting jobs • Reducing hours • Automating tasks • Refusing to hire inexperienced workers • Increasing workloads on remaining employees So the workers who keep their jobs often end up doing the work of the eliminated positions while entry level workers lose the opportunity entirely. Paying market wages is not disrespect. The disrespectful position is pretending politicians can override supply, demand, productivity, and business reality without consequences for the very people they claim to help.

Trump, yesterday, word for word - “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.” GOP Congressman: “He didn’t say that. GOP Senator: “I don’t have a comment.” JD Vance: “I don’t think the president said that.” GOP Senator: “He didn’t say that. You’re taking him out of context. Speaker Johnson: “He cares. We talk about it constantly.” GOP Congressman: “He didn’t say that.” And on and on and on and on and…

@BANKS_McNally @AgentSelf99b Yeah, for maga. For those of us who understand macro economics and inflation we can directly trace most of the inflation under Biden to what Trump did in his first term. We're still recovering from his first fuck up and you tards decided to elect him again.

Inflation was 2.9% and cooling when Biden left office.. in a short 17 months Trump managed to increase inflation to 3.8%, and increase gas by more than $1.40 per gallon in just 12 months.. And.. we’re in another useless war in the Middle East.. Congratulations MAGA, you’re idiots.

@Dave82003914 @RoyalEndeavour Then there would’ve been some Celtic influence in the language but there is next to none. The language is still much closer to Germanic languages than Celtic languages. Which is reflection of the replacement that occurred.
