Not only that, but Catholics believe that the Holy Spirit helps guide the papal election through the College of Cardinals. In his hubris and rage, Trump is spitting on ancient, sacred beliefs. "Unfortunately, Leo’s Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons, does not sit well with me, nor does the fact that he meets with Obama Sympathizers like David Axelrod, a LOSER from the Left, who is one of those who wanted churchgoers and clerics to be arrested," Trump wrote. The average diocese reported a 38% increase compared to last year. In some places those numbers were even more dramatic. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles saw a 139% increase. Perhaps that's why Trump is so angry at Leo. As the MAGA movement implodes under the weight of an unpopular war launched on Israel's behalf and a worsening Epstein scandal, the Catholic Church under this new pope is blossoming into an era of spiritual rebirth.
