@JBobMcBoatFace @SawyerMerritt @topherdzgns @Starlink So that it would sink. They used the FTS (flight termination system) which is basically just a bomb strapped to the vehicle, to do this.

SpaceX's Starship rocket just successfully performed a flip maneuver and precisely splashed down on target in the Indian Ocean next to a buoy with @Starlink on it.
The SpaceX team ends the stream with a "USA! USA! USA!" chant 🇺🇸

@Tutrifour @ZacksJerryRig Counterpoint, if he wasn't messing with his dash trying to turn FSD on, maybe he wouldn't have crashed.

@navalarch0 @TeslaTopics Yeah that's what I was going to say, it looks like the other car accelerated, probably because they thought they were going to miss the light.

This is the first time I’ve ever had to take over with a critical intervention in a long time. I have never experienced this kind of hesitation on a left turn before, even in earlier versions, where it would stop mid-turn and block the path of a car going straight.
I hesitated to take over, thinking there was maybe someone crossing, but there wasn’t.
What happened here @elonmusk @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI?
English

@TeslaTopics Looks like you seriously need to consider cleaning inside the windshield in front of the cameras. It's looking a little hazy....

Mercedes says it plans to roll out its urban point-to-point automated driving system in Germany from the end of this year, aiming to be among the first carmakers offering the technology in the country.
The system is to be available in selected German cities from the end of 2026 before expanding nationwide from early 2027.
"Our ambition is clear: we want to continue to be at the forefront of international competition in assisted and automated driving. This includes providing people with the best possible support in complex traffic situations – from traffic lights to lane changes to dense urban traffic. This is exactly what our urban "point-to-point" navigation makes possible. " - Mercedes

Tesla FSD is cruising along an open highway, sees a clump of sod in the road, and confidently and casually adjusts to go around. No panic. No contact. No hesitation. Just smoothness. @CamCutApp @Tesla_AI

@SamuelD2022 @CamCutApp @Tesla_AI @DevinOlsenn This has happened for me several times even on 12.6 hurry mode

the crooked license plate 😭
just think, someone put that on and said “a job well done”

New glossy Cybercab spotted in downtown Houston. Up until now, all Cybercabs seen around Houston appeared to be the same vehicle with the same manufacturer plate (GEU883). This is the first one spotted with a different plate, a regular consumer plate (A14-126) $TSLA @Robotaxi

@MountainTriguy @Viralvid_89 Someone's never heard of pull-A-part...

@DoomSwitch @Viralvid_89 Which organs? The ones not totally obliterated? No, I don't think so. That would be like buying a salvaged car title and hoping for the best.
English

@ChucklingChrly At least go to a different McDonald's, WTF, I mean, come on.
English

@edgecase411 You must have been on standard?
I usually use hurry and it always tries to go all the way to the front of the line and then abruptly merge in these situations 😂
English

One of the most underrated features of FSD is the peace of mind of driving somewhere new without stressing about road layouts or making awkward last-second decisions.
Like here, FSD already understands the lane ends ahead and sees traffic backing up in the adjacent lane, so it calmly merges early instead of forcing its way in at the very end and blocking the turn lane.

@edgecase411 @CamCutApp FSD often does a really slow lane change. Sometimes it even cancels the lane change or takes multiple presses to actually change lanes--even with light or no traffic.
English

Like a perfectly trained LA driver FSD has lost all patience for slow lane changers. Really sorry gramps
