I just went for my first drive with Tesla Self-Driving 14.3.5 in Los Angeles late at night It was very good, but 14.3.4 was also very good so need more time to notice the differences. But in my first hour with it, seemed great — maybe a little more confident than before. It nailed parking very quickly after entering the parking lot every time. That seems to be an area of improvement. I was impressed getting out of the UCLA parking lot when the way to exit was not obvious. The car backed out of it's parking spot, turned down a path that was a dead end, and then super smoothly without skipping a beat reversed and turned around and tried another path. that path was also a dead end. it then made a three point turn to turn around 180 degrees and finally tried the correct path out which was not obviously a path out at all (looked like a wall, but there was a space to drive between the two walls if you made a sharp right turn). It was cool to see it kind of reason through the situation, try all three paths, and then find it's way out in a way that felt smooth and comfortable throughout — not like it's confused or indecisive or jerky. The way it drives is starting to have this eerie sort of of supernatural quality to it — it knows exactly where to stop and exactly how much it has to brake to stop in time. It does it all in one smooth continuous motion, in a way that is beyond human ability. Even when a stop sign unexpectedly popped up it was able to slow down and stop at the stop sign in one smooth continuous deceleration motion that didn't feel abrupt or harsh despite the car only having seconds between the time the stop sign became visible and the time it reached the stop line. Will need to do more testing and videos tomorrow, but so far it looks like the Tesla AI team cooked again. Also love that you can now see when the car is self-driving from the Tesla mobile app

Tesla Cabin Baby Monitor 👶🐶 Use the cabin camera to monitor the rear seats while driving. Would temporarily disappear while turn signal cameras pop up, but otherwise remains in a visible location. (Feature Request, Not Yet Real)

My FSD driving streak will remain low and I don't care. I know what the system can do, but I am a picky parker. I also don't travel too often. I don't think the FSD driving streak is necessarily a bad stat, just not one I am concerned with.

NEWS: Tesla has started rolling out FSD (Supervised) v14.3.5 The update is software version 2026.20.6.6. The main new feature is an upgrade to Camera Preview. Owners can now open Camera Preview at any time, even when not in Park. The v14.3 branch also improved FSD's reinforcement learning and vision. Tesla says a rebuilt AI compiler cut reaction time by 20% in this branch.

My car started doing something weird on FSD. It started pulling over and slowing down. I thought about taking over for a second, but I let it do its thing to see what was going on. And then a couple of seconds later, an ambulance with its light flashing but with no sirens drove by, and then the Tesla carried on its way.

Others are saying they have update 2026.20.6.1 to get the FSD visual within the app. A few days later, the rest of us finally get an update, but are just going from 2026.14.6.11 to 2026.14.6.12. What’s this update for? Why not straight to 2026.20.6.1?

Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s VP of AI, confirms the team is actively working on letting you prompt FSD with natural language. That’s gonna be so epic. "Pull into the driveway and park behind the white car.” So many possibilities.

This is insane. A New Jersey bill proposed (A3968) would require any driverless robotaxi to be equipped with cameras plus two additional distinct sensor types capable of detecting obstacles even if cameras fail (LiDAR, Radar). This bill wouldn’t allow Tesla to operate in the state since they use a camera-only approach. The requirements from the bill are: • 50,000 supervised miles with operators • Triple-sensor hardware before any robotaxi goes fully driverless. Sen. Andrew Zwicker: "At this point, I don't think the evidence is sufficient that a single sensor with software can handle situations that humans can." What? Have these people seen anything Tesla is doing right now? This bill is absolutely ridiculous. Link to oppose the bill is below.

@SawyerMerritt Is that the software version that was sent out for FSD 14 lite?

The Tesla app now shows you when FSD is enabled and the car is self-driving. Looks like it's only for cars on software 2026.20.6.1 for now, but should expand soon. I think this would mainly be useful if someone else were using your car and you wanted to know if the car was self-driving, or if in the father future, it was giving a robotaxi ride.

It’s normal to throw trash on the ground where they’re from. You can’t undo how they are raised. To them, it’s normal to throw trash out on the ground and say, “not my problem.” There are plenty of instances you can find online. One woman who stayed at a hotel in India couldn’t find a trash can. She carried her garbage with her until she found a security guard. She asked him where the trash bin was. He took the bag of trash from her and promptly threw it over the wall to the outside of the hotel. It’s normal to do that there. There are videos of people throwing trash out of a moving train. I’ve personally witnessed adolescents throwing all their fast food garbage out the window of their car onto the parking lot after eating, with a trash bin no more than 20 feet away. We need to start a PSA to stop this, the kinds we saw on TV like when we were kids.

🚨🇨🇦 This Is Why Canada Day No Longer Feels Worth Celebrating A Canada Day event in NE Calgary turned into a disgusting mess. The park was covered in trash, plates, bottles, and food waste everywhere, and a brave Canadian woman trying to clean it up or confront the litterers was completely ignored. No one helped. No one cared. This is what rapid, unchecked mass immigration has done to our public spaces and shared values. The Canadian administration needs to wake up and fix this before it gets worse. Until basic respect for our country and land is restored, maybe we should stop celebrating Canada Day.
