The book literally establishes that there are other women out there with this same ability. That’s lore, and King has never been shy about lore. This also isn’t a multi-season endeavor. We’re talking about cold open prologues. It’s a miniseries that King is directly involved in.

Oh get outta town, it’s a fucking Twilight Zone ending bit, not lore or sequel set up or some giant missed plot point worth padding an eight season show out with. If people think it’s a cool idea that’s fine, but justifying it with the book is a REACH.

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 I only played AW2 once ik that apparently the game gets way wackier in ng+ but I found AW1 to be a lot more engaging. Unfortunately even then I didn't love it, remedy games just don't seem to gel well with me. Wasn't able to bring myself to finish control either.

@DoomsdayAtm @LostElysium13 mostly even by the end you can kind of float around and hide behind random shit though, maybe control is easier for me because im on mouse and keyboard? i always felt like the movement makes the game a bit easy the last boss of the dlc is annoying though

My controversial Evil Dead take is probably that Army of Darkness is my favourite. That’s the one they’ll have pitchforks out for me about I’m sorry I saw it once at a horror festival and the way the audience roared at This Is My BOOMSTICK! it’s movie magic
