@DoozyWon@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS Its not an argument its just how it is. You simply found an incorrect definition and are sticking to it for no reason other than that's what you read first and I'm not even sure what your source for that definition even is
My boyfriend is asexual and he's the one that initiates like 90% of the time.
Also worth mentioning is when I had some health problems and couldn't do it for a few weeks, he was also the most chill dude ever about it and we just watched Youtube at night together before bed 🤷🏻♀️
@BHanchen@HussyFloret@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS Is that not what they just said? How do U know I’m not AS? U don’t get a bigger say in the definition bs u feel it “applies to you”. I get AS is defined as 1 thing on google, and the dictionary and everywhere else, but some AS people are basically saying they have it all wrong!
@HussyFloret@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS OK I’ll bite. “Well us asexuals redefined the word, so it means what we say now.” Is such a bad argument and doesn’t even explain anything. You whole argument is basically “because we said so”
@HussyFloret@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS You’re being slow. Go through and read my interaction with everyone. I’ve admitted people were right, where they made sense. You just don’t explain your logic well.
@DoozyWon@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS Well you're clearly not engaging in good faith and have outright refused to listen to anything being said to you. You've made up your mind and that's that, I'm not really interested in forcing you to listen to me
@sphinx65119465@DoozyWon@WillyDiBa7@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS Sex is about chemical responses to physical stimulation, so yes. Personally, I find the whole thing gross and want no part in it.
All asexuality is is a lack of sexual attraction. It is an orientation, just like bisexuality, heterosexuality or homosexuality.
@niyuhmeh@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS That’s a perfect explanation. Thank you. I still think OP contradicted themselves. But this makes sense. I will say though, I think “asexual” is just pretty much a useless word though.
@DoozyWon@BHanchen@Ranting_Trans@talkingofMLBS Sex drive is like a physical urge (like hunger), while sexual attraction is about the target of that urge (like a craving for a specific dish). It’s like saying I’m hungry but I don’t feel anything towards that any dishes right now, but I can still eat.
@banigarubug@Ranting_Trans@BHanchen@talkingofMLBS I just don’t agree with “asexual is label created…” because it’s not. It’s a word that has meaning. Thank you for explaining the way you interpret it though. I do understand that some words, don’t mean to society what they’re defined as. I try to understand more and more though.
@banigarubug@Ranting_Trans@BHanchen@talkingofMLBS Ok, so I get what you’re saying, and even if I personally think it’s contradictory I’ll go with it. The way you explain it, you’re right though and I can see your logic.
