I agree the CEO of @AirCanada should be fluently bilingual. He isn’t and that should be dealt with. But this week is not the time to make an issue of it. Outside of Quebec and the Ottawa bubble this is a non-issue and it reflects badly on @CanadianPM.

@BleedOilBlue Did you watch any of those 8 games? He’s had his mishaps for sure, but this game especially was a case of the team not showing up. Most of it was just turnovers and failed zone entries.

@nielsonTSN1260 I do agree. Boman left things too long and then lost good players. The team is so new together it is understandable they can’t play well together.

This is all fair but I’d probably still blame more of this on Bowman than Knoblauch. We’ll discuss tomorrow morning on the show.

I’m not sure about Kris Knoblauch’s future. It’s very late to make a change. It’s obvious this team has accepted losing. I don’t know what Stan Bowman will do, and maybe more to the point I don’t know what Daryl Katz will do.

Tristan Jarry has been a decent goalie in his career. He was doing okay in Edm prior to getting hurt and has been playing poorly ever since
The best thing that can happen for the Oilers is that he figures out his issues and recovers to form. Fans should probably lay off him.

@SportsThor Yes. Boman should have been more aware of Jarry’s play. I think this has to be tough on Jarry but the Oilers have to have a reliable goalie.

Bowman deserves heat for the Jarry trade but as someone who regularly slags mgmt, I do think the Ingram trade and call up was outstanding. Notably he could’ve claimed Ingram on waivers but took gambled, waited, and acquired him for free. Then he called him up despite poor stats.

Not an Oilers fan, but wasting the primes of McDavid and Draisaitl with goaltending like Skinner, and now Jarry, is borderline criminal.
