BREAKING: The U.S. is reportedly considering a revised nuclear proposal that would allow Iran to continue enriching uranium up to 3.67%, marking a potential shift from Washington’s earlier zero-enrichment position. @Why__Knot @joequant @michaelxpettis Perpetual growth at this rate is mathematically impossible (doubling of economy every 7 years). A drop from 10% to 3-5% is to be expected when an economy matures from developing to developed. Was the same for Japan, SK and Taiwan.

Treffen gestern mit einem Freund und Zahnarzt aus dem Norden in Ahrenshoop. Zitat: Er habe das Gefühl, dass es in den 80er- und 90er-Jahren noch so war, dass man durch Fleiß in Deutschland immer etwas erreichen konnte. Heute habe er das Gefühl, dass selbst Fleiß schon jetzt, und bald erst recht, nicht mehr reicht. Er arbeite ebenfalls an einer Exit-Strategie. Man könne dem ja nicht tatenlos zusehen. Im Umgang sei vielen Patienten vieles abhandengekommen. Der Umgang sei in Teilen sehr schwierig geworden. Wow!

@joequant @michaelxpettis If Chinese investment was wise and efficient, growth would not have dropped from ~10% to 3-5%. It’s not collapse, but it’s not particularly good, especially given China’s middle income levels where growth should still be large.

Germany's domestic intelligence service has revealed its fascist character by criminalizing legitimate Palestinian activism through its designation of Handala, the iconic symbol of Palestinian resilience, and the watermelon representing historic Palestine as "secular Palestinian extremism." This isn't counter-terrorism as they tell us, it is the state using its security apparatus to delegitimize Palestinian identity and crush dissent. By equating symbols of resistance with extremism, the BfV reveals itself as an instrument of authoritarian control, criminalizing political expression to align with Israel's apartheid framework. This is the face of fascism: using state power to suppress marginalized voices and criminalize solidarity with the oppressed.

There’s one country that has 8500 nukes -has already dropped nukes on civilians -has committed multiple genocides at home and abroad and -is currently mobilizing for another war 6000 miles away from home - to attack an NPT signatory that hasn’t attacked another country in ~300 years. -to reinstall -for the third time- a monarchy which has been rejected by the people *after destroying that nation’s democracy, sabotaging its economy and sanctioning its people for decades. That country is not Iran.
