@CorvoNapper As a scientist (who also studies this clade), I know that this proposal (while having several good points) is actually a testable hypothesis about evolutionary relationships and not a "fact." Despite what Wikipedia may say.

@DoubleBeam "Paleontologist" apparently doesn't know that Brontosaurus has been a valid and separate genus from Apatosaurus for over a decade now.

This made me laugh for a good 5 minutes 🤣 Although asking if someone thinks Brontosaurus was a real dinosaur is really a better first date question.

The bone in question could be a rib or gastralium…or the other cerato. Potential hyoids merit renewed interest, huh? 😉
