Horse racing is in the events business. Corp partnerships/company outings, options for private events/multi functioning bars and restaurants. It needs to have more appeal than just the racing taking place. Get people in the door, then they will bet

Working on an article/video this week diving into some wild Derby stats…
Golden Tempo’s 95 Beyer (I believe) is the LOWEST ever recorded for a Kentucky Derby winner.
Even crazier: he lost last out to the horse who finished DEAD LAST in the Derby.
Not taking anything away from Golden Tempo—but something didn’t add up. No way this entire field was THAT slow.

@DoublesDntSleep Predicting future results is part of the game. I didn't have RS or Mage but did have Mystik Dan. But I knew to fade them all in the Preakness. I feel similar about GT but if I'm wrong I'll be first to admit.

@DoublesDntSleep I don't think it's such a wild take to say he won't win another G1. Rich Strike and Mage never won another race at all. And Mystik Dan went 0-6 in G1's since the Derby.
