Dying Light the Beast, Restored Land first impression: It's the same game with a new mode where Enemies and Resources do not re-spawn, you have to eat otherwise you'd starve and you need to be more careful overall with everything. ✅You can Skip the intro of the game and directly start from the town, nice thing ngl. ✅The hunger mode is nice and adds more to the challenge, now those consumables are definitely the most useful resource in the game, and the fact that they won't re-spawn just makes it scarier. ✅If you are famished, your health and stamina will take a hit and get halved but if you are satiated you will be perform much better ✅The zombies in this game, once killed do not respawn, so basically you can completely empty the town hall area and it will be empty, I love this feature and I can't wait to progress more into it, I am curious whether it applies for Volatiles since they come from nest, will the night finally be safe to explore without shitting your pants. ✅There's no co-op in restored land, strictly a solo experience. This feature makes the game more fun and makes me more curious how zombie-less world would look like, I love how Techland just gave this feature for completely free. I will be juggling between this game and Crimson Desert, I will be updating once I progress more in this game. Follow for more!

@GamingSinceNES Combat system is anything but overcomplicated - it's genuinely one of the best I've played in a large game like this. The menu system and certain other functions outside of combat are clunkier, though.

I think Crimson Desert is going to end around low 80s. I'm guessing the kitchen sink approach to gameplay, massive open world with tons to do, and graphics will hold it up... But the possibly overcomplicated combat and unintuitive menu system will hold it back... And based on the reviewer, the narrative will dock it some points as well. It won't be a game for everyone but I have a feeling that the sentiment will be "you got to try this" because it'll feel unique for what it's trying to do.
