@asmae_toumi @Stat_Ron To an extent. There’s certainly an interest in keeping advanced data proprietary, but I also think it’s natural evolution. Teams like the Rays and Dodgers invest 10+ person-years into analytics each year, so it’s hard for individuals to keep up.

@Stat_Ron @asmae_toumi The challenge with the current baseball analytics landscape is that there’s a growing divide between public and proprietary research, so it’s harder to stand out based on the former.
