$100M ARR is just the beginning. @cresta is transforming customer experience for some of the world's largest companies, and the momentum is only accelerating. I’m excited to step into the role of Chairman of the Board and work with the team through its rapid growth phase.

It's a great day to be a founder: we've named @dougleone chairman of @sequoia. Doug passed the baton a few years back, but he never left: he’s been in the office, working on boards, and serving as consigliere to the next generation. When we realized how much gas Doug has left in the tank, we invited him to ramp back up as an investor at Sequoia. Please cut him some slack as he onboards over the next couple weeks. Let’s go!

Everyone knows @wiz_io broke a record reaching $100M ARR in 18 months. What everyone doesn’t know is that the team was using a clever hack - leveraging their Israeli time zone. They’d code all day, and then the engineers would get on the phone to make sales calls all night. Everything about Wiz changed fast in the early days - the idea, the product, the market. What never changed was the teamwork of @assaf_rappaport, Yinon Costica, Roy Reznik & @amiluttwak - their clarity of vision, their ability to listen to customers and iterate, and the commitment to moving faster than anyone else could match. Founders: remember that in any technology cycle, in any market, a willingness to outwork everyone else is a superpower. Congrats to @wiz_io. Excited for your next chapter with @Google

Frank Slootman doesn’t hand out endorsements. So when he joins @Cyera’s board, you pay attention. Here’s why the guy behind Snowflake & ServiceNow is all-in on AI-native data security. cyera.io/blog/why-cyera…

1/6 @assaf_rappaport thought I was Don Valentine when we first met. A mistaken encounter turned into a decade-plus relationship with @sequoia leading the earliest rounds in Assaf’s first company, Adallom, and @wiz_io. Today @Google announced its intent to acquire Wiz.

Enjoyed chatting with @DerekjAndersen and honored to be the first guest for the new @Divotdotorg interview series.
Derek Andersen@DerekjAndersen

Today I’m launching a new weekly interview series called Divot (@Divotdotorg), featuring people making a mark on the world. Steve Jobs said, “We're here to put a dent in the universe.” A divot is a symbol of your impact. Episode 1 is with @sequoia's @dougleone. Full episodes will be posted each Wednesday on X. Doug talks about his multi-decade investor career in Silicon Valley as well as overcoming personal trauma, finding purpose, and American optimism. Over the past decade I've done +100 interviews at Startup Grind and felt it's time for me to get back in learning mode. Each Wednesday I'll interview some of the best people in business, tech, sports, and entertainment. Hope you get something from it too.

In 2013, @velez_david pitched @Sequoia on disrupting Brazil's banks as an industry outsider with no banking or tech experience. Today, @Nubank serves 100M+ customers as LatAm's most valuable financial company—proving outsiders with conviction can win big.
