@sodakgarrett @MattJZimmer My wife played in the record women’s attendance game at Frost against the U in 2003. Nearly 8000. We have a picture taken from the rafters..students packed the bench side with standing room only all the way back to the emergency exits in the corners. We’ll never see it again.

Memories of a great rivalries from the old NCC (...individual names are omitted for a reason, what's done is done). This was back when the SF Paper was Pulitzer worth, at least this photo is for sure. @MattJZimmer

#RIP Pearl Harbor survivor Warren "Red" Upton who passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 105. Upton was a radioman aboard USS Utah when the battleship was hit by two torpedoes on 7 December 1941. As the Utah began to roll over, he abandoned ship and swam to Ford Island, towing a shipmate who did not know how to swim.
