@nwaisb @Airbnb @AirbnbHelp @Marriott @Airbnb has its place for business travelers but you're only dealing with a conduit to the actual property owners. For me, I look at Airbnb when the hotel economics don't make sense due to rates and/or size of group balanced against hotel amenities and support.

I sometimes stay in @Airbnb on work trips. I hadn't realized how bad @AirbnbHelp is relative to @Marriott Recently, Marriott canceled my reservation. They immediately reached out, put me in a fancier different Marriott, & fully refunded me (ie, 2 nights free)

@amyalkon I'll be 62 this summer. My mother retired at 74 and she says, " worst decision I ever made"...she just turned 90. Keep at it. You have much to share with the world. After all, "to love life through labour is to be intimate with life’s inmost secret."

I just turned 60. I can’t think of anything more absurd than the idea that I would retire at 65. In fact, don’t ever see myself not working. (I’m an author, mediator, and speaker, not a bullfighter.)

@Icelandair "First Class" totaled over $12k for 3 seats barely reclined,not much bigger than coach. Overnight flight so one slept. Tickets are non-refundable! Food was subpar. Icelandair is a no frills, budget airline that should stop masquerading as having First Class. Avoid!!
