This is HUGE. Google's new medical LLM, Med-PaLM 2, scored 86.5% on the medical exam MedQA 🤯 Not only that, but a panel of 15 human doctors preferred Med-PaLM 2's answers over real doctor answers across 1066 standardized questions. Does this mean that doctors are going to be replaced? No. But I am a believer that AI combined with human knowledge and experience would make the most powerful duo.

IDK the plans for Ontario's program. In Ontario, 13 academic labs perform testing at 150+ sites, funded by the province (M of Env, Conservation, Parks). @RobDelatollan @rnaguru lead one of the main labs.

Like everywhere, use cases mature: some come (airplanes! ✈), and others scale back (neighbourhoods?). More amazing use cases will emerge for sure. There is also head-scratching to find the optimal roles for academia, GO and business. 1/4
