Proud our @GLIERUWINDSOR @ScienceUWindsor team is part of this amazing consortium. Actionable, unbiased and cost-effective, emergence of #WBE proved it's worth during #COVID19

@COVIDPoops19 @rnaguru @PatrickAoust @doug_manuel @DFisman would be great to hear what you know at this point…as nothing has been confirmed yet to the labs sampling and running the samples. We can also use public support from people in Ontario as these decisions of attrition are being made!

@DrBaigrie Yes snow melt effected some of the sites we test in ON, but those data were corrected for snow melt felt effects within the aggregated plot…corrected data showing decrease signal the last week, so maybe true decline happening (for now)
English

The COVID-19 wastewater signal can be made stronger or weaker during seasonal snow-melt and large rain events, which is what we experienced over the holidays. Optimism may be premature here.
Isaac Bogoch@BogochIsaac
Ontario's COVID wastewater signal was just updated...we had a bump over the holidays & this is now headed downward. Good to see.

#Ottawa wastewater VOC update. Increased growth of S:K444T in the last weeks. Sequencing data from end of November suggests growth is due to BQ*. Samples from Monday indicate the mutation associated with these lineages now represents the majority of CoV-2 WW signal in the city.

@jeffgilchrist @emerc19 Hey @jeffgilchrist, thanks for the heads up, it should now be updated to Dec 11…and thanks for all the graphing and analysis of the data you’ve been doing, pretty cool!

@emerc19 @RobDelatolla Hello @RobDelatolla and @emerc19, the flu and rsv wastewater data on github hasn't been updated since Dec. 4th. Would you be able to check your scripts please to see if they are running properly? Thank you.

#Flu #RSV #Covid update in Ottawa sewer from 2022-12-06
Reminder that the values between the targets are not directly comparable, only general trend. This data is best used/interpreted when compared alongside other clinical surveillance tools.

We've been working on machine-readable protocols for wastewater. Getting there in the #PHES-ODM version 2. Coming out soon.

@OttawaDaddy @doug_manuel Website issues continue, apologies, @emerc19 or someone from team will post latest trends for #cov, #flu and #rsv while it gets fixed

Look at the lastest addition to the @OttawaHealth Respiratory Virus Snapshot, #RSV #Flu wastewater data! @RobDelatolla @PatrickAoust @rnaguru
Ottawa Public Health@OttawaHealth
Our friends at @CHEO have seen significant volumes of other respiratory viruses, like flu & RSV. And those viruses do have an impact on our levels of risk as a community, including on our health system. So, we're adding flu & RSV wastewater data into our weekly snapshot. (4/9)
