Starmer appointed Mandelson despite knowing his links to Epstein and foreign states. He resisted and then took a wilfully ignorant attitude towards vetting, compromising national security. He threw a civil servant under the bus to try and save his own skin. The PM must resign.

With Labour holding 403 seats, it would be very hard to get the necessary 326 votes to pass it, so nobody will try. A Government has only lost a NC motion 3 times since 1900, last time being in 1979
