@FranzHMFC I would trust a hearts fan to have decent knowledge of the championship. For what it's worth I think Hearts will bottle it now. They're not as good as you lot make out. Lots of Jammy 1-0 wins.

I agree with the spine of the team needing to be British but we still need a sprinkle of foreign talent. Let’s look at Hearts for instance.
They have a spine of Halkett, Baningime, Shankland but you’re never going to find a British winger as good as Kyziridis for the same value.

@GorgieTalk I'd think most Aberdeen fans remember McInnes fondly. He got a lot right at Aberdeen and we were reasonably stable when he was here. When he did leave, it was time to move on and he'll always be held in high regard for his work here.

It’s beyond laughable the opinion of Aberdeen fans towards Derek McInnes.
Most stable they’ve ever been in the Scottish Premiership modern era.
Moaning because they couldn’t get a trophy haul forgetting Celtic were basically unstoppable most of the time he was there.
Also failing to remember the countless teams they’ve finished above season after season not noting the fact all these other managers they couldn’t regularly get it done.

One thing that is for sure is that this appointment must not be a Lutz appointment.
Lutz has put his time into getting Horneland and Burrows has lost patience I think.

Will we stay away from project signings and stick to players who are more likely to strengthen the first XI with a view to flipping them for big money again? Either way I also think we may see a number of exits first. Would keep Geiger if poss.

Watching Finn Yeats and Ethan Ross for Falkirk at Pittodrie today, i can’t understand why Aberdeen let players of that potential go. They are now being coached well and playing with a dynamic that we don’t have.
