Player ratings vs Aberdeen @MitchLR Butland - 7 - nothing he could with the goal but covered his box well and commanded his area well with a few smart stops. Tavernier - 8 - really good performance from the skipper today, lovely free kick to cap off a really good game. Composed in his defensive work and put in a power of work going forward. Djiga - 8 - really strong showing from Djiga, stood firm on his line and handled the physical battles well. Seemed to enjoy his duels with Olusanya when he came on Fernandez - 7 - couple of stray passes from manny but overall another good showing from Manny, cleared his lines well and won the majority of his duels too. Rommens - 8 - was an absolute menace going forward was definitely tiring when he came off, but put through a power of work and helped create the opener from sheer skill and desire. Raskin - 8 - cracking goal, has to accept a portion of blame for the Aberdeen goal but overall was a strong showing covered nearly every blade of grass on the pitch. Chukwuani - 8 - fired in the opener from outside the box, something we’ve all wanted to see more of from the team. Looked comfortable all game but definitely tired before coming off. Moore - 10 - an absolute joy to watch, playing with confidence flowing through him and a complete freedom of youth. Got a well deserved goal. The ball seems to just stick to him like glue. Aasgaard - 7 - a much better showing from him, snuck an assist for raskin’s goal from tav but he’ll not be caring. Took up some good positions and overall positive. Naderi - 8 - smart vision for Moore’s goal he got the assist for and would have had another with the delicious touch onto Miovski. Sort of game that’ll do his confidence good. Chermiti - 7 - got himself into some good positions and should have done better with one of the 2 really good chances he had. But contributed well. Maybe a smidge generous with the 7 but played his part. Substitutes Antman - 7 - really really positive when he came in, showed pace, aggression and vision. Could play a key part in the run in. Barron, Meghoma - 6 - shored things up when the came on and added some freshness. Gassama, Miovski - 6 - both will feel aggrieved for the hard work to have a goal chopped off but showed real intent. Rating based on playing about 10mins all in had the goal stood would be higher for impact

@Brendanovici Never ceases to amaze how Celtic fans claim refs are out to get them, Rangers fans etc etc, yet as soon as we raise the standard of refs, its silence, deflection or rousing speeches from club officials against looking into refs. Almost like you are happy with refs afterall 👀

Of course they are... Never do this when they're top. And as a wee side note, the ref in the photo is a bigger hun than the guy in the Rangers top.

@BigGreegsy1 Well they have to keep up the pressure to keep getting these decisions game after game... Probably would have mentioned it at their AGM again if their fans could have behaved long enough 🤷‍♂️

Pretty hilarious that we have the whole of Scottish football on Twitter fuming at the officials blatantly cheating in Celtics favour every week after the latest FARCE Review while you have Celtic fans moaning about the 1 penalty they didn’t get

@darrellcurrietv @PaddyBhoy1965 Given its the Internet age, surely the obvious answer is Scottish refs on the field, backed by foreign refs doing the VAR. Might level out some of these "mistakes" Willie keeps having to apologise for!

@PaddyBhoy1965 I’ve said from the start we don’t have enough good officials to operate it efficiently. Plus our camera angles are not good enough to make consistent decisions. We don’t have enough cameras compared to other top leagues. Hence, it’s become an embarrassment.

Sounds like the latest VAR review show was another farce in a long line of farcical ‘defences’ from Willie and co. Any keen viewer would see the inconsistency. Wonder if some of the lines were analysed? Yup the lines that apparently are always right, until they’re not. Embarrassing.

He’s a Clyde1 (picked out for that reason) nodding dog. He wouldn’t dare be controversial if his life depended upon it. It’s scripted from beginning to end for @ScotlandSky it would be funny if it wasn’t so corrupt
Dave Cornish@DpcGem

With you hosting the monthly VAR review could you answer a question @gordonduncan7 Willie sat there and stated "We have been really consistent on handballs" Can you explain why the Rangers vs St Mirren handball was completely ignored and why he wasn't even asked about it based on that statement?

@Hertz_1874 Exactly mate. Look at the Oxlade Chamberlain call. Clancy made his mind up before even reviewing the footage and then badgers everyone into agreeing with him, despite VAR showing he was talking nonsense... Thats a Clancy problem (and Wullie for permitting it), not VAR

I'll die on this hill VAR is not the problem, it is the people using it. How can you have constant replays at your disposal, numerous people watching the replays and still serve up shite decisions. Until you make referees full time in this country, nothing will change

Like I say, I would genuinely rather foreign refs manned it. Will that be perfect, no of course not but at the same time, I suspect it would be immeasurably better than this. Like I said Clancy was defending the boy before he even reviewed it. When he is doing that there is no way he can make an evidence based decision because he made up his mind before he saw the evidence! Whether that is conscious bias or sub conscious only he knows but it is absolutely bias either way. Foreign refs dont have that allegiance so although we will still see some error it won't be with the same frequency or constant direction we currently see!

@DpcGem Of course it's operator error but, given the lack of improvement, consistency and accountability, that makes it's use a waste of time.

This show where Collum's staff regularly trip him up whilst he tries his best to excuse their foul-ups is a parody of itself. We have eyes and we have ears so it's beyond obvious VAR is a complete waste of time. There's no consistency or improvement so why have it?
