Hey @Qantas! I gave you thousands for a flight and am being told that whilst you’ve taken my money, you can’t give me my ticket/receipt for 24 hours. Can you explain to me why I shouldn’t be calling the police and reporting theft? How do I know the goods will arrive?

@_sarahwilson_ @Qantas Same thing happened to me today! Cancelled our whole trip and now the tickets are more than double the price, but they won’t take responsibility for it

Today I rang to request a receipt, in the hopes of making a travel insurance claim. Apparently, that’s not allowed. @Qantas staff aren’t allowed to generate receipts. At this stage, I have no evidence of why I spent $2000 with @Qantas yesterday. But wait, it gets better (6/10)

Luckily I spoke to someone more helpful the next day. He was able to reduce the cost to $2000 and booked our flight for Saturday. I honestly thought our luck was changing (5/10)

Working from home with a baby is really, really hard. But it’s also kind of the best.
