Max is here wishing you all a merry Christmas!! Max was sent to Clement Rabbit Rescue because he was self mutilating. No one really got to the bottom of the cause but with lots of love and care from Paige he seems to have gotten over it. Max has been isolated while at Clement and had regular health checks. We work very closely with Paige and know that her practices are tip top. This means that we are happy Max is fit and healthy. Later on this afternoon I’m going to show you Max with a little heartwarming Christmas surprise ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was Roxy. Roxy was dropped here late last night with a suspected broken leg from a road traffic accident. We took her to the emergency vet. After X-rays, scans and bloods, it was revealed that Roxy had a thrombus or Blood clot, which had been stuck in an artery and caused the paralysis of her leg. We tried to save her but we were too late. By mid morning today she had lost the use of both back legs. A heart scan showed that her heart was failing her. We had to make the ever weighing decision to give her a pain free dignified end. I’m not angry that our charity can’t pay the bill because we are restricted to only rabbits. I’m not angry that the money we’ve saved all year to pay for Christmas is now gone. I’m angry because yet another shitty human cast her away like she was nothing. I’m angry that they didn’t feel that her life was important enough to get her insured. I’m angry that the person trusted to care for her didn’t notice the early changes that would have indicated and maybe prevented her serious condition. Please, if you commit to care for an animal of any kind then be responsible!! Get insurance, get regular health checks, spend the time and love them!!! We ask for nothing. We are happy with what we have and knowing that we gave Roxy a chance is enough. Money is nothing more than a currency yet humans see far too much value in it. We see the true value in this world and its life, love and time. Roxy, I’m Sorry we could not save you. Roxy passed with her head in my hand and with Daisy holding her paw, knowing love ❤️ Safe travels you beautiful girl. You deserved better. 😢
