🚨 Vincent Kompany on people appreciating him: “Don't believe the hype, don't believe the drama”. “When I arrived here at Bayern, I'd been promoted with 101 points, then relegated with 20, then won the league here – two years ago I was the worst manager and today I’m the very best”. “If you let yourself be influenced by all that noise, you’ll end up getting worse. It’s nicer this way, but I can live with criticism. It really doesn't matter to me”.

@SavageSzym @teun_wolbert @oost_marcel @Klarna We're sorry to hear about this situation and understand how frustrating it must be. We'd love to look into this for you. Could you please send us a DM with the details linked to your Klarna account so we can investigate and get this sorted?

@Klarna customers don’t have to pay 🤯 That’s the outcome of a new ruling in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Two consumers who used “buy now, pay later” were told they owe nothing, because Klarna failed to comply with credit regulations: lnkd.in/dSAf58TT According to financial complaints body Kifid (Klachteninstituut financiële dienstverlening): - BNPL is considered a loan - That means creditworthiness checks are mandatory - And clear consumer information is required Klarna couldn’t prove it met those requirements. The result? The credit agreements were voided entirely, and payment obligations disappeared retroactively 🤯 This is bigger than just two cases. It directly challenges one of the core assumptions behind BNPL: That it operates outside traditional credit frameworks. If regulators, and courts, start treating BNPL as full consumer credit, the implications are massive: - Higher compliance costs - Stricter onboarding flows - Pressure on business models tied to late fees & collections And this might just be the beginning… Kifid confirmed more cases are under review. BNPL has been one of the fastest-growing segments in FinTech. But rulings like this raise a key question: Is BNPL still “payments”… or is it simply credit in disguise? Thoughts?

@tiredobserver1 @charliecolecc You seem to be highlighting the dip in 23-24 while ignoring the overall trend of rising/high levels of immigration during their 14 years of power.

@charliecolecc Yet immigration fell under the conservatives so it means Labour are failing far more than the conservatives.

The insanity of this cannot be overstated. The UK defines relative poverty as living in a household with income below 60% of the median income in that year. Because the Boriswave are mostly low-wage, low-skill migrants, many meet this definition the second they step foot in Britain. And because of this, MPs are now arguing this is the group that should be allowed to obtain ILR and permanently settle in Britain, so they can claim benefits and increase the welfare bill further. All this while tax thresholds for working British people have been frozen since 2021 and are set to remain frozen into the 2030s. Just look at the number of people with ILR status who are claiming Universal Credit, in April 2022, it was 95,612, in January 2026, it's 222,076, that's a 132% increase. Britain cannot afford the Boriswave being allowed to settle.

Half of all migrant children currently live in poverty - an already shameful statistic. But the Earned Settlement model will see that poverty prolonged for 90,000 children in working migrant families. That's why my community says the Government must think again.

@C_S_Skeptic @abinjodattil @FrankfurtZack The best outcome would be the emergence of a third party that either wins or out competes one of the two major parties. Tribalism and the two party system will be the death of us. Two sides of the same coin.

Not like DNC offered an alternative worth voting for. Said long before the election was held, there will be no winners in the 2024 election. Prediction remains valid. And the best outcome for 2028 will be if BOTH parties find a new name with a new vision that has never sought the office before.

@abinjodattil @FrankfurtZack @C_S_Skeptic Musk has publicly stated that he voted overwhelmingly for Democrats for many years (including Barack Obama, and he voted for Joe Biden in 2020). He has said he might never have voted for a Republican until around 2022.

Melania wasn't a trump family project, that was a grift by a standalone team. 1) TRUMP Cards (POL - @CollectTrump ) - pretty much all early buyers profited (selling $100 cards for $1200 at one point) 2) $TRUMP (SOL - @GetTrumpMemes ) - again literally all initial d1 buyers profited, those who bought after the dip and before the gala last year profited 3) $WLFI (ETH - @worldlibertyfi ) - anyone who bought in round 1 profited even to this day. so what's the cope about?

@0xAnatolii fair point tbh but if the goal is burning the money trail does it even matter which bot grabs it? any extraction turns dirty deposit into "legitimate MEV profit" on the other end. you don't need a friendly bot, you just need any bot

nobody accidentally swaps $50M into a pool with $36K of liquidity lol. fresh wallet, $50.4M from Binance, zero slippage protection, routed through the jankiest Sushiswap path possible. and then an MEV bot just happens to flash borrow $29M from Morpho in the same block and pocket $9.9M? cmon. 0xngmi called this exact play a year ago - construct a deliberately terrible swap, let a friendly bot extract the value, dirty money comes out the other side as "legit MEV profit." $154K per AAVE isn't a fat finger. it's a laundering fee

@HunterEdBoy @voguebabe35 @MikeHudema Soil adds minerals and vitamins that you do not get with only water. Some serious hydroponic growers attempt to add back missing nutrients but how effectively this occurs is unknown. I believe that is the root issue (no pun intended lol).

America's first large-scale indoor vertical farm for strawberries in Richmond, Virginia. Using 30-foot towers, it produces over 4 million pounds of strawberries annually on less than an acre of land. This innovative method reduces water use by 90%, land use by 97%, and eliminates the need for pesticides. We have so many solutions. Implement them. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy
