As a sociologist and Africana studies scholar, it is so typical of the types of experiences African and African Diaspora women. People try to masculinize us.

@Lufthansa_DE @lufthansa @aena @MADRID That was my welcome to Madrid: one of their @aena workers trying to beat me up because I demanded my rollator walker. While all of this was happening, his colleague brought up my rollator walker. I took it and entered the shuttle bus with no problem.

Fra Care Services also has Daisy Ray who worked super hard taking me to @Lufthansa services, not once, but twice because we had conflicting ideas about what we were supposed to do. DR took me down to baggage claim and then through security and back up to the exact same gate.

In a matter of minutes, she had called the baggage claim at Frankfurt airport and had them reroute my rule Walker to Madrid, which was my final destination. She made sure that they were processing it so that it would be at the gate when I arrived in Madrid.
