The standard of play in A-League is above most leagues in world football and isn’t a world away from the top. As tough as things have been off the field, the standard of playing and coaching remains very solid. It’s a strong selling point for the league in a competitive market.

When you realise that you know very little and you have more wrong than right, you can start to progress

The obvious time wasting tactics by @brisbaneroar are an obvious issue and coaches directing players as part of tactics again is a philosophical problem BUT the inability of the officials to manage the game is the bigger issue - a horrendous performance by the officials

Well they’re friendlies, there’s no coach and the most well-known players (Kerr, Fowler, Vine) aren’t there. So of course it’s gonna feel a little flat, especially when they lose. Guess we’ll see y’all back on the bandwagon a little further down the road.
