The last time I visited the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian hillside and began throwing molotov cocktails at Palestinians homes. When the IDF came, they planted an Israeli flag and protected the settlers as they did it.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Palestinians are experiencing violence at the hands of settlers and the IDF every day. There has been no accountability for that, for the genocide taking place in Gaza, or for the killing of US citizens (like my constituent Aysenur) who was killed by the IDF —likely with weapons supplied by the US. Troy Jackson became a Democrat in 2004, held a 100% Planned Parenthood rating since 2018, and helped pass one of the most EXPANSIVE abortion rights laws in the country as Senate President. Voters want candidates who can own where they’ve evolved, not ones who never had to. Maybe check with the campaign before the next “scoop.”

Ro and I visited the destroyed village of Zanuta and the site of an EU-funded school that got burned down by settlers. It was here that we got intercepted and captured by settlers wielding American-made rifles. The IDF showed up to back up the settlers, not the U.S. congressman.
