Infection control specialists are among the most data-driven, careful bunch in all of medicine. If they're endorsing mandatory COVID vaccines -- along with the rest of the ID groups -- there's an extremely high likelihood it's the right move. We need to protect our patients.

Clarity on Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin. Below are the list of trials that show any convincing evidence of safety and efficacy. Despite @POTUS's assertion and strong testimonial, and his blocking Tony Fauci's ability to respond to the question at today's press conference

@flieonthewall @DrMoghtaderi Hi folks, Interesting thread and I feel your pain. However, I would suggest that you, Lydia, stop yelling into the echo chamber of Twitter and get with your local Epic/EHR leadership to address the problem.

@DrMoghtaderi Two thoughts on this: 1 - I had to manually correct myself in the first version of the tweet (since usually Epic autocorrects for me) 2 - sometimes, the all-caps makes sense, eg, “WHY DO I GET A SCANNED AND CARE-EVERYWHERE COPY OF THE SAME NOTE, EPIC?! THAT’S TWICE THE CLICKS!”

At a nearby hospital, a colleague opened a note in error in Epic, creating 5 pages of detritus that were automatically faxed to my office, where an admin scanned them back into Epic, at which point their appeared in my inbox for me to click, view, & mark as ‘done.’ 1/2
