@RestIsPolitics disappointed that there’s no mention of junior doctor strikes during tuition fee discussion. Fee rise has been major inflationary pressure on JDs- going from £4k to £45k since I went to med school in 2004

@sheiybani @dr_emmacoombe So your department held the course cost until it was reimbursed, not your hospital’s post graduate medical education centre? Interesting… What department was it? And do you know how it was funded at all? From a departmental budget? Or did the consultant body pick up the tab?

@dr_emmacoombe @DrGedM When I was a Trust grade, my department did this for a PACES course from their budget. Made a difference to me and shame we don't get this as trainees!
