I was happy to co-host a workshop this week @UTAustin Center for Pandemic Decision Science as a part of the @NSF-PIPP. Extremely talented scientists from around the globe joined to discuss how to better prevent and prepare for the next threat. Thank you @MayorAdler for speaking!

On board as a primary investigator at the center is @DrMarkEscott, who was the face and voice of Austin's COVID response for ~18 months. He talked to me a lot about how he hopes the response to future threats can be more unified between public health, gov, scientists, etc.
