India has long debated who should be represented in its legislatures. Revanth Reddy is now asking why the generation that has just changed the course of Indian politics remains so poorly represented within them. The young people who forced power to listen, compelled governments to retreat and turned public anger into political consequence cannot be treated merely as voters, protesters or campaign volunteers. A generation capable of reshaping the national mandate is capable of carrying one. That is what gives Revanth Reddy’s proposal its political force. By demanding that the minimum age to contest elections be discussed alongside Seat Enhancement, Delimitation and Women’s Reservation, he is placing youth representation where it belongs: at the centre of the next restructuring of Indian democracy. And by calling for a Joint Parliamentary Committee, he is demanding a national consensus built through consultation with opposition parties, stakeholders and the people themselves. Congress has always believed in widening the circle of power. They should be lawmakers, ministers and decision-makers. Revanth Reddy is building the institutions through which a generation can actually rise: Young India Integrated Residential Schools, Telangana Public Schools, Young India Skills University and a dedicated Sports University. As the Chief Minister holding the Education portfolio, he has also delivered what students should be able to take for granted: examinations without paper leaks and results without controversy. The same generational thinking runs through Bharat Future City, the EV policy, the revival of the Musi and Hyderabad’s lakes, the fight against drugs through EAGLE, and the action against food adulteration through H-FAST. These are not disconnected schemes. They are decisions about the Telangana young people will study in, work in and inherit. For years, Indian politics has praised the energy of the young while reserving power for the old. Revanth Reddy is breaking that contradiction. He is not asking Gen Z to wait for its turn. ప్ర‌తి కుటుంబం ఆత్మ గౌర‌వంతో బ‌త‌కాల‌నేది మా ల‌క్ష్యం. సొంత ఇల్లు ప్ర‌తి ఒక్క‌రి క‌ల‌. పెరిగిన ధ‌ర‌ల‌తో సొంత ఇల్లు క‌ట్టుకోవ‌డం పేద‌ల‌కు భారంగా మారింది. ఈ నేప‌థ్యంలో హైద‌రాబాద్ మ‌హా న‌గ‌రంలో పేద‌ల‌కు ఇండ్లు క‌ట్టించాల‌ని నిర్ణ‌యించాం. ప‌థ‌కం పురోగ‌తిపై ఈ రోజు స‌మీక్ష నిర్వ‌హించాను. ఇందిర‌మ్మ ఇండ్ల ప‌థ‌కం కింద 528 చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో, 400 చదరపు అడుగుల కార్పెట్ ఏరియాతో ఫ్లాట్లు నిర్మించ‌నున్నాం. ఇంటి నిర్మాణానికి అయ్యే రూ. 11 లక్షల ఖర్చులో రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వం రూ.5 లక్షలు సబ్సిడీగా అందిస్తుంది. మిగిలిన రూ.6 లక్షలు లబ్ధిదారుని వాటా. తొలి ద‌శ‌లో 17 నియోజ‌క‌వర్గాల ప‌రిధిలో 7,680 ఫ్లాట్లు నిర్మించి ఇస్తాం. హైద‌రాబాద్ మ‌హా న‌గ‌రంలో గ‌జం రూ.ల‌క్ష‌న్న‌ర నుంచి రూ.2 ల‌క్ష‌లు ప‌లుకుతోంది. గ‌త ప్ర‌భుత్వాలు న‌గ‌రానికి దూరంగా ఇళ్లు నిర్మించ‌డంతో ఎవ‌రూ అక్క‌డ‌కు వెళ్ల‌లేని ప‌రిస్థితి. ఆయా కుటుంబాలు నివ‌సించే ప్రాంతాలకు స‌మీపంలోనే ఇండ్లు నిర్మించి ఇవ్వాల‌ని మేం నిర్ణ‌యించాం. ఈ క్ర‌మంలో రూ.వంద‌ల కోట్ల విలువైన భూమిని ప్ర‌భుత్వం ఉచితంగా కేటాయిస్తోంది. జ‌నావాసాల మ‌ధ్య‌న నిర్మించే ఈ ఇండ్ల‌తో పేద‌ల‌కు విలువైన సొంత ఇల్లు అతి త‌క్కువ వ్య‌యంతో ల‌భ్య‌మ‌వ‌డంతో పాటు స్థానికంగానే ఉపాధి ల‌భిస్తుంది. #IndirammaIndlu #PrajaPalana
