I regret accepting Nine’s complete surrender in my winning defamation lawsuit. After Nine suffered a total loss on the underlying merits, the only thing left was how much they were going to pay. I accepted their capitulation, but in so doing I also gave up something I now wish I had insisted on: a final written opinion from the judge. Had the case gone to a final decision, I believe the judge would have issued a scathing opinion condemning @Ageinvestigates and @CharlotteGriev1 for their egregious conduct. The evidence didn’t just support my claims—it showed deliberate defamation. And what came out in discovery revealed conduct that included lying and fraud. I’m confident a final opinion would have laid bare their complete lack of journalistic ethics. But without that written opinion, they’ve been able to act publicly as if they never actually lost. In fact, Nine has mischaracterized my total victory as if it were a mere settlement, to imply that they didn’t really lose and that Grieve and McKenzie did nothing wrong. So let me make this clear: based on the evidence from my lawsuit, I’m calling Nick McKenzie and Charlotte Grieve liars and frauds. They have no journalistic ethics. They will deliberately deceive the public into believing what they know not to be true to advance a political agenda and generate ratings. They put sensationalism over truth. The defamatory 60 Minutes broadcast and Age article still online are replete with knowlingly false statements. Nothing they write or say should be believed. They have no credibility, and they have no right to be called journalists. They’re a disgrace to the profession and should be universally condemned by their peers. If they claim any of what I wrote above is false, they have an obvious remedy: sue me for defamation. When they lied about me, I took them to court. If they claim my allegations are false, they should do the same: file a lawsuit and prove me wrong. But they won’t, because they know I can prove every allegation I’ve made—something they could not do regarding the knowingly false allegations they made against me. And honestly, I hope they do sue me, because this time I won’t accept their surrender. This time I’ll hold out for a written decision that fully exposes the grievous nature of their conduct for all to see.

I had a coronary artery calcium (CAC) score image and report done yesterday. As you may or may not know, I've either been strict one meal a day, and/or a strict carnivore for probably a decade. I've had high cholesterol all that time as well - around 300-350 - which is why my doctor made me do this test. My CAC score came back this evening: LMA: 0 LAD: 0 LCx: 0 RCA: 0 Other: 0 Overall score: 0 Coronary Age: <35 years old (I'm 49 years old) I'm not saying anyone should do what I do. I was genuinely scared to do this and to get the results. I'm very relieved to see that I'm without arterial calcification, and healthy AF. But I thought I would share. @SBakerMD

The constitution provides us with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 90% of Americans could fix what ails them and wouldn’t need doctors if they stopped pounding sugar and processed foods, drinking alcohol and actually got up off their ass and exercises.

11% of Americans are cost desperate — unable to find quality, affordable care and unable to afford necessary care. In a country as wealthy as ours, a doctor's visit should never be too expensive. Congress needs to work with @SenSanders and I to pass Medicare for All.
