Was told today a mom was refusing a vaccine for her baby. Turned out mom just didn’t know what Hep B was. It was a scary sounding word. Strive to walk into a room with NO assumptions. Misinformation can be two sided.

Finished my 1st rotation of residency and couldn’t be more grateful to help people in this way. Tagging many physicians & scientists who have gone out of their way to help, mentor, and support me. I am so grateful for all that you do and will do my very best to pay it forward!

If you want to participate in society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated. It’s time. You’ll need proof of #COVID19 vaccination for indoor dining, indoor gyms, and indoor concerts and performances in New York City. This is a lifesaving mandate to keep our city safe.

My pediatrician in rural AL told my mother that teaching me our native language would impair my language skills & cognitive abilities. What he didn’t tell us- I was his first #firstgen pt. As a doctor, you have the power to change someone’s life. Listen, learn, & check your bias
